2009 Norman Music Festival

The 2nd annual Norman Music Festival from 11am until Midnight on Saturday, April 25, 2009. The Norman Music Festival is held annually on Main Street in historic downtown Norman, Oklahoma - Home of the OU Sooners. Last year, more than 13,000 people hit Main Street to see more than 30 bands playing at this FREE music festival.

The Norman Music Festival is currently seeking commercial and artist vendors to fill spots available along Main Street for the second annual Norman Music Festival. The vendors will be placed directly on the Main Street so the sidewalks can be enjoyed by all festival attendees. The 200 block of the historic Main Street will fill 20 spots available for commercial and food vendors. OU Sooners Sports Traditions

The University of Oklahoma school colors may have evolved over the years, but you can ask any self-respecting Sooner what the colors are and they will proudly shout: Crimson and Cream.

OU boasts a tradition of excellence that few schools can rival. Over the years, Sooner squads have combined for 22 team national championships including seven in football, seven in wrestling, four in men's gymnastics, two in baseball, one in men's golf and one in softball.

Boomer Sooner - the OU Fight Song is one of the most infamous college fight songs in the nation. It is performed by The OU Marching Band at most Sooner athletic events and immediately evokes passion from OU fans and evokes chills down the spines of those who dare to oppose them.
